Since its inception in 1990, LK Domain Registry is facilitating development initiatives of internet infrastructure services to improve the internet service sector in the country. Been the sole administrator for national level domains in Sri Lanka, LK Domain Registry is expanding services to serve the country better.

The e-Learning Division of the LK Domain Registry is committed to increasing the ICT Knowledge of Sri Lankan communities, by increasing awareness and by facilitating the job-oriented IT skills development to uplift potential individuals to enter the IT Industry. We are looking for a dynamic and a tech-savvy Student / Program Administrator to join our team providing exceptional administrative support to both students and program operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Student / Program Administration. Having experience in Moodle & Creative Content Development will be an added advantage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program Coordination: Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ICT training programs to maintain high quality and seamless delivery.
  • Student Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to students, addressing their queries and concerns efficiently and effectively.
  • Enrollment Management: Assist in the enrollment process, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new students.
  • Tech Integration: Utilize advanced technology tools and platforms to enhance e Learning and hybrid learning experiences, as well as streamline administrative processes.
  • Creative Content Development: Develop creative, engaging and innovative digital content.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update student and program records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for students and other stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating student and program events, workshops, and activities, both online and in-person.
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
  • Previous experience in program coordination, student administration, or a related role, preferably in an educational or ICT environment.
  • Proficient in learning management systems (LMS), student information systems, and other educational technology tools. Familiarity with multimedia editing software is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop engaging and innovative digital content that captures audience’s interest would be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing exceptional support to students.
  • A quick learner with the ability and willingness to adapt.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, creative, and immersive digital content for our ICT training programs and marketing materials, including videos, animations, interactive modules, and multimedia presentations.
  • Storytelling: Use storytelling techniques to create compelling narratives that enhance the learning experience and engage diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, e-Learning developers, subject matter experts, and other team members to ensure content aligns with learning objectives and program goals.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new techniques and tools to enhance content quality and effectiveness.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • User Experience: Design content with a strong focus on user experience, ensuring it is intuitive, accessible, and effective for diverse learners.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
  • Proven record of accomplishment in developing creative and immersive digital content, preferably in an educational or training environment.
  • Proficient in multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), and other content creation tools. Experience with e-learning development tools like Articulate Storyline or Captivate is a plus.
  • Exceptional creative skills with a strong portfolio displaying diverse and innovative digital content projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expertise to develop training materials on Web Front-End Development, covering all or some of the specified areas of expertise mentioned in the next section.
  • Content Development: Create comprehensive and engaging content on the same.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct live or recorded training sessions, providing clear explanations and practical demonstrations of key concepts and techniques.
  • Course Design: Design the course structure, ensuring a logical progression of topics and a balance of theoretical and practical learning.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Strong understanding of design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.

An attractive remuneration package awaits the right candidate, including base pay and additional commission based on performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, Support, and Coordinate Sales of Value Added Services and Operations.
  • Provide accurate and professional client and customer support via phone, chat, and email.
  • Collaborate with LK Domain Management, Staff and Stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required by management.
  • Achieving defined monthly targets for new sales and ensuring the retention of renewals.

REQUIREMENTS
  • A diploma or certificate in IT/ICT/IT Systems from a recognised institution or a recognised professional qualification.
